Luggage on JetBlue

Staying for 1 week in Jan.and want to avoid checked bag fees withJetBlue. Can I place a bag under the seat and one in overhead space
If so, any suggestions on an understated that fits jetblue

Yes, you're allowed one bag in the overheads and one personal item that can fit under the seat.

And the jetBlue Flight Attendants emphasize that the underseat piece has to fit completely under the seat - not encroach into the foot/"walking" space at all, including straps and handles.
