Luggage on Eurostar

I have looked at various posts and checked out the information on Eurostar website but I am still confused. Luggage must be no more than 2 metres long and can be 2 normal sized suitcases and 1 piece of hand luggage per person. No weight limit but you have to be able to put it in the overhead compartments. I am assuming these are bigger than standard trains as they would not hold a normal sized suitcase in my opinion. Can someone please advise on what size bag or case you have taken. We will only be taking one bag or small case each as we are only going for 3nights / 4days but I don't want the stress of getting it wrong

I am getting excited! My little girl goes mad everytime the advert comes on! She is only 3.

There are overhead areas, as well as places for luggage (larger luggage) at the end of every aisle. So you can bring a full size suitcase.

Can someone please advise on what size bag or case you have taken.

We took a transatlantic size suitcase one time (it contained our Christmas tree! ) and never had a problem. We normally take both largish cases and carry-on size ones. The large ones we put at the end of the compartment and the carry-on size ones will fit overhead.

Thanks for that. I can now relax. I need to buy a new suitcase for our holiday in a couple of weeks to Butlins at Bognor Regis so I will just use this one for Disney as well.
