Luggage and hats

I have been a lurker/reader for the past 6 months, but now that our cruise is 4 weeks away, I have a few specific questions- hope it's okay to ask them here.

1. Luggage- are there dimensions of what fits under the bed? Height/length/width? Just trying to decide what bags to pack.

2. Hats- we are quite fair and need to wear hats- are the winds too strong to wear an non secure sun hat? Any tips on good hats adult/kids to bring?

All the beds are queen sized and are raised with plenty of room to store luggage. Nest them together if you can.

It will get windy on the top decks so your hats should have chin straps.

1. Can't say for sure, but I know our 26" roller bag fits just fine under the bed.

2. When walking around the ship, yes, there can be a breeze. Sometimes fairly brisk. Unsecured hats can fly off.

Oooh chin straps, that would not be a good look for me! Maybe I will take Phil Mickelson approach and use a bulldog clip to attach my hat to my head. I am assuming thats what he was doing at Royal Troon and it wasn't some sort of superstition...

What about baseball caps? They are usually a little more secure, but will they also blow off?

I tend to turn my baseball cap around up top. Hat clips work too.

Hats designed for running are always great. They can get wet to keep your head cool but dry quickly because of the wicking fabric. Any local running store would have some to choose from but you can find them online plenty of places as well.
