So, yesterday, I had already run through my 3 fast passes at Animal Kingdom. We watch the 6:00pm Lion King show, and head over to catch a sunset ride on the safari, which is listed at 30 minute wait. Well, the wait turned into an hour while we were in line.... and the sun had set by the time we rode (the nighttime Safari is not very good). BUT, while waiting in line, playing with the fast pass options, I see Kali still has some fast passes left, and book a 7:30 fast pass, although the wait is only 10 minutes (after being an hour or more all day in the heat). When we get off the safari, we head straight to Kali, as it's now after 7:30. When we get there... it's broken down. But, Disney, on the app shows I now have an unlimited fast pass to be used any time today on (almost) any ride! Today is our Hollywood Studios day, and now I can use that for Toy Story Mania, which I didn't get a fast pass for previously scheduled when booking! Pretty excited!
Plus, we did get to ride Kali just before park closing, and it was a walk on at that hour and after the downtime.
