Hey Lynn!

I have another question about your t-shirts, the ones that are different colors with the white mickey heads? Did you use the spray on dye? I purchased a few bottles yesterday to try out, and I'm afraid my mommy brain just really can't figure it out.

Step by step instructions written for someone that's been at home with manic toddlers for too long please? Whenever you have a minute?

OK, After the children go to bed (and we finish watching last night's Robin Hood) Chuck and I will attempt to write down what we did on those shirts. My mommy brain can't multitask well, and that Robin Hood is quite distracting. So stay posted! I'll be back later.

I could not sleep at all the night we found out we were going to SSR! I was worried and excited all at one time. Now I'm just excited!! I hope these weeks will fly for me and crwl along for you.

OK this is for Twingle. We did use the spray bottles and Procion MX dye. The dye is a powder that you mix. We got it at A C Moore. We did start out with a tye dye kit that gave us basic instructions on treating the shirt with soda ash and such. I'm glad we used the other dye though, because the shirts have really lasted. We treated the shirts like you would for tye dye with the ash stuff. For Chuck's shirt we used the Mickey head paint samples. (If you stick them in the micrwave for about 20 seconds, they peel right off.) For mine, I cut a Mickey Head out of poster paper.
We did this all outside. (not in the front yard. ) We laid the shirts flat, placed the Mickey heads on them (I think I put a little masking tape under mine to hold it.) and sprayed them. Chuck used a whole lot more dye on his. Mine turned out more pastel by using less dye. We waited an hour before hanging them on hangers from our monkey bars to do the sleeves and the back. We didn't have a pattern, just freehanded it and had fun. Then we just followed the directions that came with the kit, waiting the amount of time you needed to and then rinsing them out.
I know this is as clear as mud. I have still got the kit directions somewhere if you need me to type them out for you. Here's a picture of the sprayer and the dye we used. Chuck just downloaded it for you.

If you have any other questions, please let me know. Oh and make sure you wear rubber gloves or you'll have tye dyed hands.

No, you didn't miss it! I've just been so tired, I'm just getting the supper done and falling into bed. I don't think I'm ever gonna get over this thing!! It's slowing me down and worse, slowing down Disney plans!! I'm gonna try to post something tonight!

Ok here it is, the final (yes, final) schedule including our ADRs. There are not many of them because we are kind of spur of the moment people and with our lovely studio at SSR, we can do some cooking in the room. (Microwave!!!!! ) If you’ll be there when we are there, please say hey. I’m working on a Mickey head to put on our door. (No window because we have a balcony. )
As you will see, some afternoons we have no plan. We are gonna wing it.

June 7- Arrive and activate APS at Downtown Disney. (If we can. Still researching.) Checkin at SSR. Make lightsabers at Downtown Disney and hang out at SSR.

June 8-AK morning, Nemo, eat at Tusker House (because it’s being revamped soon) Break, Epcot evening, Illuminations

June 9-MK, Casey’s for lunch, break then back for Wishes.

June 10- MGM for Star Wars Weekend, Lunch at Scifi

June 11- Epcot!! Lunch at Sunshine Seasons, and the afternoon with my boys, Off Kilter (Where is that drool smiley when you need it?)

June 12- Disney Quest for Chuck, Jake and Em, laundry for me. Afternoon at AK.

June 13- MK 8 AM at Crystal Palace

June 14- AK 8 AM at Donald’s Breakfastaurus

June 15- Sleep in then off to Yacht Club for a Kitchen Sink, and another afternoon at Epcot with my boys and a late Fantasmic at MGM.

June 16- MK

June 17- MGM for another Star Wars Weekend. Jedi parade at 11:15 and Father’s day surprise for Chuck (Can’t write it- he reads this- wish he would post more often)

June 18- Epcot, lunch at Garden Grill

June 19- leave Disney, Kennedy Space Center

June 20- home

There it is! As our trip progresses, we’ll probably change things, depending on what we miss. I am so ready to go! I want to pack now, but I can’t or I’ll have to go naked to work and nobody wants that.

Thanks, both of you for taking the time to post right before you leave! I wish I was leaving sooner, but we'll just miss each other. Looking at the schedule makes it seem so real. I still can't believe we are gonna stay at SSR. Jake said we will have to work on our "fancy talk" to fit in. We had a great time at AKL except it made me so sad to see all the nannies. My goodness, if you can't spend time with your kids on vacation, when will you?

Oh, guess what? They announced inventory is the day before I leave, so I can't get the day off now. Say a prayer that I can survive inventory with enogh of my mind left to pack. We may arrive at WDW with snowboots and stocking caps. At least I'll have two weeks to recover!

I was just on my way to see if anything is posted on this thread, when I hear Chuck laughing from over the couch. He won't say if he was laughing about the cocktails or Chewbacca. And hey, don't be telling all my secrets! They really buy that "oh Disney Quest is too loud" or "I've got to do the laundry, honey!" Then I get my "Lynn Time."

The plans look great!!!!! I didn't realize that you arrive the day after my birthday! I was there last year that week and it wasn't too bad crowd wise that is.

I hope the crowds won't be bad. We went two years ago at this same time and it was OK. On your birthday, I will be doing inventory!
