Luaus - Chief's, Fia Fia, or Ka Wa'a?

We just did Fia Fia last week. The grounds of the Marriott are beautiful and the resort has a completely different vibe than Aulani. Nice to experience something else while we were there. Luau was really good and the kids food was open to anyone (mac and cheese, chicken tenders, spaghetti and meatballs). Pork was terrific and so were the desserts.

Thanks so much for leaving your review!! Very helpful - I'll likely go with Fia Fia too!

Paradise Cove luau is another good choice and it's within walking distance of Aulani. We have done the Chief's Luau and Paradise Cove. I thought the grounds (sunset over the ocean) and pre-activities were superior at Paradise Cove. The actual shows and meals were very similar. YMMV.
Good to know! That's where I booked based on Oahu Revealed review. We are planning on walking (0.9 mile) as we won't have a car.

It’s open to public. It’s excellent production and very authentic. Good is great. If you go to mRriott and go to longhi for dinner on night of their luau and sit close to water you can watch that one from the restaurant

It’s 100% open to the public — so long as the public is willing to pay for it.
We went to Paradise Cove last Friday and the Aulani luau on Saturday. No comparison in production and food quality. Aulani wins hands down. We thoroughly regret spending the money for Paradise Cove. The food was almost inedible (salty beyond belief) and the production was mediocre at best. We left before the end of the show.
