has anybody else been trying to book the Luau for May? They just don't answer the phone and when they do they keep saying they don't have the schedule. On a different post somebody else had said they were told they were possibly making changes or even canceling the Luau..anybody else heard anything???

I hope they bring the starlit hui back. Then I can see that for free (tho they prob charg now LOL). I will go to Paradise Cove for luao then....can't decide so that will make decision easier if not at Aulani.

I understand that but the only thing anybody has heard about the future of it is speculation. Nothing officially announced.

I called yesterday to make our reservation for mid-May. They informed me there is a change, the luau will be moving inside and will not have fire dancers. They are replacing the lawn/ redoing the area that the luau is at right now. I'm sure after all the construction is completed they will move back outside, but for us at this trip, we won't be attending the inside Luau. We will be going next door at the Marriott to the FIA FIA luau.

I didn't ask about the cost, as I already knew we wouldn't want to attend if some of the outside elements weren't going to happen.

I agree..we will likely do paradise cove now. I just saw that the Marriott is only on Tuesday and we have the executive lanai booked the Tuesday of our trip. I don't want to pay for that only to have to leave several hours early

Thanks for this info!
I guess paradise cove it is! I didn't realize there was one at Marriott... is that luao better rated?
Thanks

I feel more confused than ever. I just called again and they told me that they still don't have the schedule for anything past may 8. She said Tuesday they will have the schedule.

I called back and just flat out asked. They said yes, it is moving inside for about a month. $125 for 10 and up and $65 for 3-9. Seating is first come first served. Paradise cove jt is for sure!

Try searching "Fia Fia Marriott Ko Olina" and reviews will pop up from sites like Yelp or Trip Advisor. It does seem to have pretty good reviews.

I am now more torn than ever - we had decided to just bite the bullet and do the Aulani luau on arrival night but I am not paying anywhere close to $100 per person for an indoor show. I am not even certain that my boyfriend and I will like a luau, so I was thinking of just doing dinner at The House Without a Key, but that requires a drive and neither Paradise Cove nor Fia Fia would require driving. Tough decisions.

My dilema is we could book Aulani on our arrival night (last night before jt moves inside) but our flight lands at 11am and we wanted to stop at Costco and I'm really afraid we would be cutting it close on time. Or we book paradise cove for a different day (maybe the same day as Pearl Harbor but but I'm also worried about cutting it close on time)

We loved paradise cove. The kids (6 and 8) loved the preshow activities and all the participation and we loved the location on the beach. The food isn't amazing but it was fine and we weren't there just for the food.

Paradise Cove didn't have very good reviews. That's why I selected Fia Fia at the Marriott.
