Can anyone give me honest reviews of Liberty Tree Tavern and Plaza Restaurant lunch reviews? We are really considering doing both for lunch, but do not want to if a lot of the reviews are negative.

If you do not recommend these, is there something else you would suggest? We are pretty flexible, so restaurant location doesn't matter.

Thanks for the help in advance :)

We havo done both. We did LTT in 2009 and enjoyed; I think the menu has changed since then. We go to Plaza every trip (in fact, I will be there Fridat. Yummy food and best French fries at Disney. Save room for one of yummy desserts.

We like both of them.

Just did Liberty Tree in December. I got the Pot Roast and Dh had the tri corner sand. We shared the toffee cake.

In the summer at Liberty Tree I like to get the colony salad as its just too hot for a hot meal. We did share the artichoke dip or whatever it was for an app. then.

At the Plaza the sandwiches are fine, but of course I love the ice cream!! The seating is alot less than LTT so you might have to make an adr earlier if its a busy time.

We like both for lunch. We used to always do the family meal thing at dinner at LTT, thought that was the only way to go. But after doing lunch, we knew we like this better. That way everyone gets a choice, and the choices are very good. Plaza has really good food too.

2 more votes from my husband and I for the Colony Salad at LTT!

We have never eaten at the Plaza, but can definitely recommend LTT for lunch. My parents, DH, and I had lunch there in December, and it was excellent. DH, Mom, and I had the Tavern Fried Cheese for an app - it is ridiculously good. Not only do you get fried cheese sticks, but you also get fried cheese curds which are so good! My dad had the clam chowder and said it was very, very good. DH and I each had a cheeseburger and fries and it was definitely one of the best burgers we had (second only to Beaches & Cream and, maybe, Sci Fi) and my parents each had the Tri-Corner Sandwich and salad. They said it was excellent, but it was HUGE - they couldn't even come close to finishing it. My dad, DH, and I each had the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake.....:worship:. Mom had Martha Washington's Cake. Good, but oooooh weee! Super rich!

We loved it. It's on our must-do list for our next trip!

I have not been to the LTT in many years so I do not want to give my opinion, but I have been to the Plaza twice in the past 6 months. Both times we went for for lunch and had an enjoyable time. The food is simple, not to fancy. I think it is very good choice for a lunch table service option in the MK.

Both of these restaurants are very good. We eat at The Plaza every trip, it is a nice atmosphere and the food is decent. As a pp mentioned, the fries are great! Then of course there is the ice cream...

We did LTT for lunch in October. Both DH and I had the pot roast. Not sure I would do that again. It was delicious, tender meat and tasty potatoes, but I thought is was a little heavy in the middle of the day. I would definitely go again and try the salad or sandwiches.

Thanks for your input, everyone! That definitely solidified our decision to do lunch at both places:thumbsup2

I have had Lunch two different times at Liberty Tree Tavern and thought it was very good, so I will always like to eat there again whenever I get a chance.

I also had Lunch one time at The Plaza and while it was good I didn't feel the need to go back there anymore, so for me going there just once was good enough.

We really like Plaza. That's the one place my daughter says we "have" to eat at on our upcoming trip.

We also eat at the Plaza every trip. Every meal is topped off with a strawberry milkshake made the way a milkshake should be.

Just had lunch at the Plaza this week! DH had the club sandwich and I had the turkey sandwich. Both of them were great. I also had the broccoli slaw instead of the french fries, and it was wonderful. We did not order the ice cream but saw many sundaes travel by and they looked fabulous!

The Plaza is good, but LTT is VERY GOOD. I would rate LTT much higher in my opinion, but you're not making a bad choice going for both.
