I just got an ADR for LTT for 12:15 on December 20. I'm second guessing the time and know the ADRs will go fast. The parade will be going on during that time. I had planned on seeing the second parade anyway, but will we have trouble getting to the restaurant? Would it be better to get there early and watch the 12:00 parade from right in front of the restaurant, then walk right in? This would cause us to be about 10 minutes late though since the parade is 21 minutes. Not good, huh? The next time available is 12:50 and that's too close to our dinner ADR at BOG. How should I plan this?

Last time we went to LTT we watched the parade right outside the front door. You could get a spot there about an hour before, go and check in at the exact time (12:15) and then watch the parade while you wait to be seated. They give you a pager.

The issues might be 1) you are asked to check in 15 minutes early so you might not get much time to watch if seated quickly if you check in early, 2) if you get front row seats for the parade, someone is going to have to move back to check in at 12:15 3) when paged you all need to move back to go in restaurant. People moving back out of parade (particularly in front of LTT as the crowd can't get to deep there) generally don't have too much trouble as other people would love to move forward.

Each time we have eaten at LTT we have had to wait to be seated.

If not watching the parade then yes you might want to think about how you will get to restaurant when parade starts as you can't cross parade route. It could be hard to get through crowd but not impossible.

Thanks for the great information.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to watch the parade from standing on the porch of LTT? Would you be able to see anything? I'm thinking this might be the best option so in not having to move through people.

The last time I was there was 3 years ago, at that time there were people on the porch watching but there some trees that might have grown to make it harder now. The only problem with porch is they keep the best part clear so people can go in and out of LTT.
