Happy holidays everyone, I hoping someone can help me with a question I have concerning storage of Lox. We had some friends over and bought lox and bagels and now have leftovers. Can we freeze it? Does any one have any ideas on how else to serve it instead of a breakfast food with bagels? Thanks for your replys.

Yes. Cut it up and make an omelet (or scrambled eggs) which includes chopped onions.

Lox can be frozen. Google lox recipes. We eat it on bagels and omelets (eggs, lox and onions).

Its good on salad too. You can put it in pasta or frittata or make a pizza with alfredo, lox, parm, dill, capers, red onions and a little good mozzerella. I agree with PP-ers... you can freeze it too

I freeze it in smaller packages all the time. lox, eggs, onions scrambled -delicious. Also in a frittata. enjoy
