Lowest point subsidized aulani contract?

I’d be afraid to touch an Aulani contract right now until I know what is going on with the rush of listings….

I do wonder what is up with all those contracts being listed. Looks like they were from the same place as they all are very stripped and have the same extended close dates. I may be interested in one of the medium ones at some point. But since all are majorly stripped and delayed close, I'm not sure what I would want to offer.

Yeah I saw that that thread and that they may be restricting rentals in Hawaii but it didn't seem to come to any conclusion what that means for DVC member yet

We just don’t know!

But clearly someone decided the risk isn’t worth it.

Or a lot of short term rentals are on the market (over half are owned by non-residents) in Hawaii and someone thinks they can get them on the cheap and do long term rentals.

We really just don’t know.

Wow. Does DVC try and buy up all the sub contracts they can or are they still available on the resale market?

Even if DVC buys it, it should retain its subsidized value. So DVC could buy it and hold onto it, but they already have millions of points to sell there still. There are even some Vero Beach subsidized contracts out there.

If DVC buys it, they points would be broken up and resold as a brand new contract and the subsidy would be gone.
