Low carb bagels?!

IT'S TRUE!! I was at Jewel tonite, and Thomas' has low carb bagels--I think they were 16 net g. of carbs, which is on the high end for me, but will be nice for an occasional treat. Even once I get on maintenance--much better than the fully-leaded 56 g. each!
I'm so excited!!

Yea I had a bagel question.
I actually bought the atkins bagels ( not THAT good) but ediable.
Anyway, I was on lowcarbfriends.com and while I was looking through the recipes I saw a few that said 1carb bagel!?
Is there such a thing?

I haven't seen any 1 carb bagels, I have a feeling I know what they would taste like. Most Atkins' breads are the same. Athough, the texture would probably work for bagels, heavy and spongy. I haven't had the Thomas' that I bought last night, maybe when I get my 50 pound clippie I will treat myself to one. 1 more pound!!

Thanks for the heads up! I had no idea that Thomas made a low carb bagel! That is great news, although 16 grams of carbs is pretty high for me! I am not sure it is worth it! LOL Mackey Mouse sent me some low carb bagels that she got from a health store and they only had 8 grams per bagel, which wasn't bad! They were yummy too!!
