The only thing that bothers me about this is poor Alan Trammell, the guy was a Tiger through and through. Never got enough recognition as aplayer and now is the holder of that auful losing record.

But still, GO TIGERS!!!

Our trip starts the same day as the World Series, Saturday, 10-21. Just went to the store and purchased the championship t-shirt to wear next week while visiting the world.

I'm predicating a Tigers win for the following reasons:
1. The American League is better than the National League (and I'm a Mets fan)
2. Teams that beat the Yankees tend to do well. (see 2002 Angels, 2004 Red Sox, 2005 White Sox)
3. They are awesome.

I can't believe that I get to go to the World Series!!! I've been to all the playoff home games so far. The crowd went NUTS when Magglio O. hit the home run. What a classic moment, with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th!!

This is so sweet. After limping their way into the playoffs, I wasn't very optimistic that the Tigers would get very far. But they obviously had other ideas, and it's been fabulous!

I got interviewed on WJR on my way into the stadium before Friday's game. Kinda fun! I was asked how I had prepared for the cold weather, etc.
