I never found it to be an issue to have the hotel photo id

OK newbie here. So now there isn't a photo express pass. We will just use our room keys. Will they be asking for photo ID anywhere in the park to prove it's our room key? I usually carry ID, but this seems like a hassle. I guess we will go with the flow.
