I don't know how people plan and anticipate for months or even a year or more. We just booked last week and I am already too anxious.

Thank you, thank you! I just booked CSR today for Thanksgiving 2006. I'm so glad to hear such encouraging things about it. We've stayed @ deluxe and last few years opted for value because we just don't spend much time @resort. This time we look forward to a more relaxed trip and I think I made the best choice. Got an excellent rate (IMHO) with AAA. Thanks, again.

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! Great pictures Buzz!! We'll be there December 4-10 for our first visit and I am sooooooooooooo excited!!!

What is your preferred building and why? Also, do you know in what order the buses pick up at the bus stops at CSR?

Most of the great pics belong to Don (dcg0317) so he deserves all the credit. I'm just trying to make sure all of the DIS'ers out there see them.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site over the wooden bridge. Most convenient, most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building.

Cabana 8b and 9a are inbetween the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool and is also a smoking optional building.

Rancho 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.
Rancho 6b is also close to the Dig Site.

The casitas are close to the gym, spa and have great fountains and courtyards. casita 5 is close to the Dig Site with a good walk to the main building. The lower the casita number the closer towards the main building. Casta 4 has a quiet pool.

Theme park buses go:
2 - Casitas
3 - Ranchos
4 - Cabanas
1 - El Centro

Downtown Disney buses, as well as Park Exit buses go:
1 - El Centro
2 - Casitas
3 - Ranchos
4 - Cabanas

Hi,

According to the menu on Allears.net, you can get some really expensive stuff - like a rib-eye at Pepper Market. I was wondering if there are limits on what menu items you can order on the dining plan. I called the hotel, but all they could tell me was that I would get a brochure upon checking in. We are going to be there 11/12 thru 11/18 and I don't want to wait for a brochure. Anyone have one they can scan in or can anyone tell me what menu items are available for a counter service meal on the plan.
