Ok everyone...after toiling for hours and hours all day...I finally made my very first vmk quest! I'm very excited about it. I based it on my all time favorite Disney movie...Robin Hood! There are no mini games, spending money, or needing magic in this quest, just some movie knowledge and a taste for adventures in Sherwood (Share Would) Forest!

I know a lot of younger kids may not have seen this 1973 Classic (oops...I just gave away one of the answers right there!) but I hope some of them have...and I certainly hope you older DIS'ers have seen it! So everyone please come to have fun (but also...the first 30 people to win will recieve rare prizes and/or credits...gotta please the masses )!

I had a lot of fun answering the trivia about one of my favorite Disney movies and I won a Pirate 1/5 pin- I didn't have that one- can't get better lol.

Thanks to all who came by! I awarded 30 places (all rare and/or credits, lol...and some more than one prize) and it was over so fast, for spending SOOOO long on it. I had no clue how hard it was to run a quest and make it and all. Holy cow.

I hope that I can keep the same quest and just add more prizes (hope the machine does not reset...but I have a bad feeling it does )

I'm gonna be mad if I spent like half a day doing it and all my tasks and questions are erased b/c the prizes are gone. I REALLLLLLLLLLLLY hope I can just add more, and if it works that way....it will be back! (with ahemlessrareprizesahem)

I was really hoping it would take a while and a staff would come by and give me the best quest award! LOL I never take the time to make anything cool (besides the dis river which is now pretty dead I think) so I have never won a ribbon...I would be so happy about that! I'm not that creative when it comes to vmk for some reason....and dang I'm an artist (albeit an average one) and everything! haha anyway I had a blast

Oh....and I guess I should say CONGRATS to Empare...first place! What a shock! No, it's not nepotism (look it up kids www.webster.com), Em and I and my sister used to watch Robin Hood over and over and act out every part, taking turns with parts....I mean we can quote the entire movie...not exaggerating. At least I still can, dunno about Em....hands down the best darn Disney movie EVER I don't care what anyone sez!!!

Sounded like fun!

Yes, it's tough to run a quest. I've run quests on two kiosks, three different
ones total. I am now going to alternate opening them every so often,
and yes, it would rock to win Best Quest.

I had fun making people do silly stuff (like making people ask "Are you taken?"
in Central Plaza during my original quest. LOL). I discovered people enjoy
it more if you don't have them do magic or mini-games.

And to answer your questions, YES, the quest resets when the quest ends.
The tasks do not disappear, though. Fill the prizes again and start the
quest again, and you don't have to test it. (They used to make you test it
every time when you refilled the prizes. Glad that's been fixed!)

This also means that anyone who has completed the quest will know the
answers and can run through the quest again, but with a faster time.

It's a lot of work to make a quest, but it's very fun.

Thanks Mea! She is right everyone. I have seen Robin Hood more times than any other movie. It's so hard to not quote every line when I see it now.

I am totally gonna have it again (tonight if my man lets me use the computer) with lesser prizes...since i gave away everything good. I might do like a time limit type quest and have it run for a few days (if you can run it that long?) it ended TOO quickly...and I thought 30 prizes would take longer. AND I'm gonna change some things: no having to make a friend, and some questions will be different/changed. Maybe all...we will see! Gold in a new place..hmmm I think I'll start now!
