We have,been here since Wednesday ( had a very early flight... got ZERO sleep)...arrived on Orlando at 9am....
Got our car rental from Alamo.. rented a full size and got to pick out a MINI VAN!!!! Called BC on our way to the resort area and asked if by any chance they have a room ready and if we could put in a request for a fireworks view.....GOT IT!
Checked in... a few minute "hassel" from the parking pass/welcome packet... oh well.... no biggie
This is our second stay here...with two young kiddos we love the extra space and the location can't be beat for the price.
We have done Mickeys Merry Christmas Party... it was lots of fun...spectacular fireworks but wow did it make us tired! Daughter did BBB in Disney Springs....best money spent if you ask my opinion
We have done 2 character dining experiences....the Cinderella with Prince and ugly step sisters at Park Fare....and Akerhaus (lunch)...the food was better at Park Fare....DO didn't like Akerhaus food at all...the characters were great at both but it was very hard to hear anything at Park Fare. We also have done the big kitchen sink at Beaches and Cream after a day at Animal Kingdom
Overall it's been awesome. Love how laid back a vacation can be while staying at BC....we have had 2 days where we have just spent the morning and afternoon here at BC... in the room...kids lounging doing some homework...I tidy up...can't imagine trying to do the same in a value resort. Can't imagine having a dining reservation every day of a trip. I ended up canceling our one at Hollywood and Vine for tonight yesterday because we just need to be able to chill and not be on a "schedule".
We are here until Friday morning! Hoping to relax today and hit it hard our last 2 days!!!
