Seems like everyone was raving about it, but recently I have been reading some negative reviews. We go in 3 weeks and were looking forward to it!

While I will admit that it is a bit sweet for my personal taste, I still think it is the best breakfast food in WDW. :)

I voted YES!

It's yummy, but it's very rich. If you love, love, love sweets, this is the dish for you. Others would probably do well to share an order of TT with something else less sugary.:earsboy:

Love It - but it certainly isn't something I would eat for breakfast every day of my Disney vacation. I went to the Thomas Kinkade gallery in the Palisades mall prior to my December 2007 trip and the salesman who tried (succeeded) to sell me the DisneyWorld Cinderella Castle painting told me about it as he always stays at the Poly and has it for his first and last breakfast of his trip. I gave a try in December and loved it. When I go back in April, I plan to go out of my way to have it again. If you haven't tried it and you like bananas - give it a shot.

I've loved it since I had it on my honeymoon in 1991 My DH actually makes it for me on my birthday for breakfast

Haven't tried it yet, but it sure sounds yummy! It's on my "must try list" for our Nov-Dec stay at the Poly.

Tried it a couple of months ago. Yummy! I absolutely fell in love with it.

I love it, but if you order it and the toast is very greasy send it back. I have had it when they did not set it on racks or paper towels to leach the extra grease out.

I am trying it for the first time this August! I love bananas, I love sweets, and it sounds like the breakfast of my dreams!

It looks sooooooo good, but I'm allergic to bananas, so, no Tonga Toast for me!

I'm the lone person who hates it so far. I thought it was way too much sugar, had a bad grease flavor and tasted disgusting. I was sad that it wasn't even OK, because I was REALLY looking forward to it.

It actually made me so sick that I had to rush to the MK for some protein so I could continue on with my day.

I am in the okay camp but DH is firmly on the love it side. I can think of better uses for the extravagant amount of calories it contains!

It used to be better. It's still very good, but my ELW makes it without deep frying it, so it isn't as greasy.

I haven't had it...yet! It is probably the #1 food left on my list to try at WDW. It sounds delicious, but I'm sure I'll only be able to stomach a few bites once I actually have it. I'm sure it will be extremely rich! Still, I can't wait!

Wow, great feedback so far! It sounds like my mom and I will split it, and if it is too greasy we will send it back before we try it!! Thanks everyone!

Definitely split it. After ordering 3 between the 3 of us we probably had more than 1 left over, I should have mentioned that in my earlier post. It is just too filling.

Love it! Had it for the first time on my honeymoon back in 1980 at the Tangorea Terrace and (though I'm not a sweet breakfast lover) I can't wait until my next taste!
