Whoops I'm in "operations" can you move this mods...thanks.

Hi VWL owners and lovers,

Questions:

Does anyone have room #s for the studio/studios without balconies so that I'll know it if I'm given it.

What view is good to request for the most light in a studio in your opinion? I know most views are of woods but is there a view without an entire woods view maybe toward the WL?

Is there more than one studio facing the infamous dumpster?

Is there room service available?

Thanks everyone. I'm so incredibly excited to go. So excited. Would probably own there but my partner is not a fan at all (hence all the questions). I'll spare you from her lovely thoughts. Banish her from your glorious kingdom.

Lisa

the woods are far enough away - so light definitely comes in the rooms.

the ones closes to WL were maybe a little more shaded because of WL.

the plan varies by floor - but I think there was 2 studios and 1-bedroom? sometimes this is 1 studio and 2-bedroom.

thank sandy (InstImpres) for this

also this - she has a room report that I though I had sorry.

forgot - yes there is room service!!!

Hi VWL owners and lovers,
Hi yourself, Lisa! :wave2:

I can't remember it but someone will come along with that room number, I'm sure. There's only one studio without a balcony. We haven't stayed in studios so I've never paid much attention to that room number. Sorry. :confused3

I think light is pretty good in most studios. On the lake side I think you get the morning sun more, and on the other side you get the afternoon sun. The trees aren't so thick that they completely block sunlight. The side that faces WL (very few rooms on that side) wouldn't get as much sun I wouldn't think.

The end studio on the "front side" of VWL on the first four floors would have that view, though in my opinion the one on the second floor would probably be the worst. You can't see it from the first floor, and there isn't a studio on the 5th floor. There are also studios next to those studios but all you would have to do is look straight ahead or to the right and it wouldn't even be in your field of vision. Keep in mind, someone has to get those rooms if the resort is sold out just as someone has to get the "no balcony" and "H/A" rooms!

Yes there is.

Hey, nobody's perfect and at least she has someone like you to show her the light! Enjoy your trip planning. :)

We stayed in a studio with a patio instead of a porch, it was 1509. It was right next to the laundry. I liked it because the kids could walk right out to the pool and since we seem to generate astounding amounts of laundry it was nice to have it close. The downside was we never walked through the dvc lobby to get to our rooms. The upside was the rooms were really close to the big lobby.

My parents studio was 1506, also a patio not a balcony.

4533 is the studio without a balcony. It's a lock-off, so you can ask for a dedicated studio. Also, ask for a lake view. We did that (and got lake view) in December. I learned the folks across the hallway from us had the dumpster view. There's a few studios with dumpster view, including 2560, 2562, 3560, 3562, 4560, and 4562.

WOW! Great color coded map!

I know, eh!?! Those 2nd- 4th floor 2 bedroom and 5th floor 1 bedrooms over the atrium areas look very interesting. Especially those 2 2 bedrooms (xx19, xx28). Wow. Any pics or descriptions of those? So curious....

Thanks everyone.

We leave Sunday for our 1st stay at VWL. Does anyone know the room numbers for HA rooms? We have a studio and would prefer to have a bathtub so would rather not have HA. Thanks!
