hello,

I've been trying unsuccessfully for the past 5 hours trying to book a free dining December trip, sometimes I get as far as final check out (already adding flights, etc) but it won't let me check out at the very end. Is anyone else having problems booking?

Thanks

Also, sometimes the free dining offer disappears totally from the "special offers" page.

Other times, I try to check out & my cart gets completely cleared out... room selections, flight, etc all gone

It's been a bit frustrating...

Disney's system is down. It has been for most of the day. Dining AND reservations. That's why you're having trouble. Hopefully it will be back up soon for you!

Oh thank you! I have been trying at least two dozen times & was getting quite frustrated. I was really trying to book the trip today because it seems like the past few days that I waited, prices kept going up

Still down here for us too....looking at adding another dining reservation and nothing yet...hopefully a little later it will be up and running!

I just tried a few times in the past few minutes & it's still down. :(

Interestingly, I've been trying all day to book at All Star Sports & noticed that it was a $1,000 difference from Coronado Springs. But just now, the price between the two jumped to a $3,000 difference! How does that happen!?

Was that the total listed as starting at after you started your search or did you actually click into each resort to choose a room category? As if you were actually going to book? Sometimes that initial search comes up with all of the resorts and a listed starting at rate-but that's only based in category of rooms that are actually available that fit your criteria, one of those searches could have yielded that maybe only standard rooms were available at one of the resorts with a specific discount(free dining) and the other resort only had say a preferred room with maybe the room only discount. Then when you checked later maybe both resorts now had availability with the same discount(free dining) changing the difference in cost... Not sure if that helped explain anything or not,

Ohhhh I think I understand what you mean! Thanks for the explanation :) that makes much more sense than Disney raising the price by $2K haha... it was really making me antsy trying to book our trip thinking everything was going up in price...

Availability changes constantly because of cancellations and such. Rack rates are pre-determined when they publish package prices and release rooms for booking, they don't ever change those prices(they don't go up randomly for a same date)... They do however put out the promos(room only discounts, stay play and dine discounts, and others) which will lower prices. But if you search straight rack rates for say a week in Dec, same dates, same room category, several different times(jan, March, and November) that stay in Dec assuming resort, and room category are the same the rack rate will always be the same.

Thank you for the info! Good to know for the future :)
