A small background. I go to wdw maybe every 4 years of so, last time was right after i left the company from being a CM with walt disney travel.
Looking at packahes for the 50th im quite shocked but not surprised at the prices. Being a former cm i used to get POP for 50ish dollars a night, now they are wanting about 200PN for the dates im toying with. So new plan

What are the 3 to 5 cheapest good neighbor hotels you can book a package with? Right now wdw packages are open till the end of 2022 is it the same for them( this is something i should know)
After the first of the year how are ppl gettimg to the resorts if there is no MDE anymore( uber seemed pricey at 50 one way)
And this ive always wondered. Has anyone that was able to get military tickets every get then for someone they dont know? IIRC our dates, at least the first date would have to line up for going in the parks(please dont roast me its just a question that popped in my head while reading the board.
Any good/great travel agents youd recommend? Im a pretty hands on person but i dont want that this time. Id like someone that books the reservation/parks/tickets/FP if they ever come back for me.

Have a look on the mousesavers.com website. They have preferred hotels and get discount codes for. They aren’t travel agents. But provide links to their preferred hotels with booking code.

The Holiday Inn's are usually the cheapest. Fairfield Inn and Courtyard also give some good rates if you're a Marriott rewards member.

I will probably use Uber/Lyft to get to the parks. It's not a perfect option but it's going to be the cheapest and fastest.

For military tickets, you would have to know someone who qualifies for tickets and has access to a base. They can buy tickets at the PX but don't have to be with you when you use them.
