This is on the dining forum but not seen mentioned on here yet.

The 2012 ddp brochures are on the official wdw website and include lots of restaurants on ddp for the first time.

Including rainforest cafe at AK and DTD, and at DTD T rex, fultons (2 credits), wolfgang puck dining room (2 credits) bongos, house of blues, paradiso and portobello.

At Epcot bistro de Paris (2 credits)

none of those are of interest to us, but i'm sure lots of people will be very pleased!!

t-rex will probably be completely overrun!

Cool, I thought they may add a few more at DTD.
when we went to T Rex they asked if we were on the dining plan-thought they may add it this year. :thumbsup2

Thanks for posting, will look at menus and see if we are going to change some.:goodvibes

Yay DH and I have eaten at Paradiso a couple of times and enjoyed it but paid oop. Now its on the DDP its even better. Really glad to hear about the others as well.

We decided against Fultons last trip as it was not on the DDP and now its on the plan we will have to make plans to go there next year.

We have eaten at all of them except for Portabello and would recommend them all except for the Rainforest Cafe and T Rex which we find rely on special effects rather than serving high quality food.
Paradiso 37 and Bongos are particularly good.

What would people pick between bongos, portobello, house of blues and raglan road? I have one free spot on the ddp?

Just when I thought I had it all sorted.

It looks Portobello might get a look in, as they have a filet Mignon on the menu, which is my DS's fav food. He has expensive taste.

Thanks for the update.
It reminded me we are now within our 180+10 dates so will need to see if I have 12 digit reference number so that I can book some ADR's :)

I think they have been doing that for a while. When I went they did ask if we were on the dining plan but when I looked confused and said "Yeah but I didn't think you take it" he responded that the reason they ask is they get alot of people coming in, eating and then being upset that they don't take the dining plan so they ask at the beginning so they can tell everyone that has it that they can't use it now.

Then again that could just have been a cover to find out how many people going that had the dining plan and if it would be worth it to them to offer it.

oooo! Thank you!

Will need to revisit our planned ADR's now - had planned on having a 2 credit meal and paying oop for House of Blues... need a re-think now! :thumbsup2

Yes, thanks, will have to review next Octobers dining plans. Wolfgang Puck's Dining Room was a realy nice meal but very expensive, the DDP means we could consider going again!

A few days ago we amended the number of days we are to spend in WDW in Feb and added a 4 night cruise. This obvioulsy meant some re-booking of ADR's. I was thrilled when I read this post a few days ago as my girls love The Rainforest Cafe, so I thought I would include it in our dining plans.

When my husband called last night, he was told in no uncertain terms that neither the Rainforest Cafe OR T-rex was included on the dining plan. I then called again, spoke to someone new and was again told the same thing!

Has anyone else managed to book Rainforest Cafe on the 2012 Dining Plan?

Just read another forum and by phone they are included as the cast members have only just been given the new brochures, maybe online hasnt been updated yet
