Lots of MVMCP the week we are going- how to plan?

We are going starting the Sunday after Thanksgiving. There will be 4 MVMCP that week. We are planning to do the party one night but then that leaves only 2 other days the MK will be fully open. Is it wise to do MK on a Monday? DH wants to do Universal and a water park with DS too. HE also wants to see AK since the last two times we didn;t go there at all. Also does anyone think the first night of MVMCP- Sunday will be very crowded? I just don;t know how to plan this trip!

We arrive that Sunday, also...I'm in the same boat you are trying to figure out what day to do MK. We aren't doing MVMCP unless we change our minds. We do want to see Spectro again but I'm sure the days it's scheduled for will be crowded. So, we're trying to figure out if we should do MK a day when it does close early for MVMCP, then hop over one night just for the parade. Also, we plan to do The Keys To The Kingdom tour one morning and trying to decide if we should do that, then hop to another park afterwards or stay at MK a while. I'm like you, not sure how to plan either.

Yes, I think the first MVMCP will be crowded due to lingering Thanksgiving crowds. I would go during the week. As for it only being fully open 2 other days, what we decided to do was go 2 mornings and then the party. That way, we should be able to ride POC 50 times (according to dd that's all we're riding this time!)!! It's her new favorite ride.

We are going to go on Wed. night to see Spectro. It is EMH night so I am not planning on many rides, just dinner, Spectro and soaking up the atmosphere. Maybe a few rides on TTA and the train.

tjmouse, how do you know when Spectro and the EMH will be for November? I thought park hours weren;t listed yet. I was trying to do MK all day Wednesday the 30th. I may do the party on the 29th with the day spent at our resort. Im really confusing myself and I already feel like we won;t be able to do all that we want to do! Oh well it's a disney vacation I should just relax about it!

I havent made the plans yet, but we have ap's and I saw you can get discounts on same day purchase tickets for the mvmcp. Is anyone else considering this. I figure we might hit it one day if its not sold out. The ds are teens so I dont think its big on their list of must do's, but if I can get the tickets at a discount then I might. DH will be there for a conference that week and I dont know if they are planning anything special for the attendees so I am not sure what to do yet.

I wouldn't do MK on one of the days they are open late and Spectro is running, it will be crowded, I've been there. I would do MK on Tuesday or Thursday, do something else in the evening if you are not going to MVMCP (assuming you have a hopper). Maybe go to MK for Spectro just in the evening it's running.
