Lots of Characters, Lots of Firsts but Lots of Drama: Why We Say NEVER AGAIN!! 3/21

Sorry I've been MIA, life has just gotten in the way of my DISing. One benefit though is I had a few updates to catch up on. :thumbsup2

~Love the pics from the Princess/Fairy meet-n-greet.
~PM looks good, was there back in '98 and forgot about it.
~might think about getting that lanyard pouch next time too as I'm the keeper of everyones tickets and get all the FPs.

Looking forward to hearing more......

Really great trip report. I can't wait to hear more - and especially what it is that you won't do ever again!

Your dd is adorable! I have a Lilly too! (I know they aren't spelled the same!)

Thanks for including the info on meal cost/souvenir cost - very helpful! I'm looking forward to your souvenir pics at the end of the report.

Also interesting to read about your visit to CS - I've never been and have always wanted to see it!

Thanks for all your updates - looking forward to more.

Caught up! Other people may not like when TRs go slow, but I love it. It's so hard to stay on top of things on a fast moving TR!

Seems like Lilian woke up pretty well for early in the morning. Very cute that you did tinkerbell gifts. We did not, but I think it's a very cute idea! We also set up stuffies for our Mousekeeper, I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to see if your mousekeeper played along. Ours...well, it's kind of complicated, so you'll have to read my TR to see!

CSR is so very beautiful! Bring on the pictures! The meals are so expensive, aren't they? Whenever they rang up our food I was shocked. And SO glad we were on the dining plan!

I know you are busy with lots of stuff but thought i would give ya some popcorn:: in hopes of a update!

Hi to any readers I have left ;)

I am almost through my rough few weeks of school. I have a presentation and paper due today so after that, I have one major project and a few minor things. Please hang in there with me--I hope to be back tonight/tomorrow with the next update. It has been started--I just need to finish it!! :rotfl:

Good luck with everything! I completely understand. Looking forward to reading more, but no pressure here! :)

Are you sick of photos yet? Perhaps I should change the title to include the Lots of Pictures too. :thumbsup2

not at all I love pictures...we really enjoyed staying here...the fountains were great...though we never saw that thick fog

One of the best purchases of the week for me! It held my and Lilian’s KTTW card and photopass cards the whole week and I occasionally had a bit of cash and my credit card in it. :thumbsup2

those our both on my souvie list for myself this yr too! Sorry I have been MIA...but looks like you have been busy and I wasn't too far behind after all....hope you are well!

I just found your trip report today and I love it. Love your honesty and your precious Lillian is just adorable. I will be patiently waiting for your next update.

Just a few comments:

You know I really thought it was only mothers who coddled and enabled their children. My brother who is over 40 still lives with my Mom off and on. She is getting so much better though about saying no, not only to him but also to grandkids, who are only using her.

TV's on vacation. I wish Disney offered TV free rooms. We are DVC and there are so many other things to do on vacation then to sit around and watch TV. The noise drives me crazy. Once you buy into DVC there are games to check out at the community centers that you can take back to your room. On the Boardwalk you can rent bikes or the surrey bikes. The community centers also have games and activities for all ages. :thumbsup2

Love the teacup pictures. I haven't ridden the teacups in over 10 years because of the way it makes me feel.

And I can't believe you only waited 15 minutes for the Princesses. :scared1:

No worries- it makes me feel better about being so slow to update mine. :rolleyes1

Never said hi, but I'm still here!

I am still here!! Your break has been great for me since I have been working a ton over the last couple weeks and haven't had a chance to get on the boards!!!

Looking forward to an update...but relieved that I didn't miss a bunch. ;)

Finally, we were off to the bus stop for Epcot—my goodness it was packed! The Epcot bus came and DGM, DGP, DBF and DBFDH got onto the bus the rest of us had to stay behind for the next bus. Luckily, this was the only time this happened all week. The second bus to Epcot came rather quickly, under five minutes, so we were off shortly after.

Our first visit to Epcot was about to begin! My Dad had gone with my sister’s family a few years ago but my sister does not believe Epcot is meant for young children so they did not visit it. We were finally at my favorite park from our first trip:

Check-in went smoothly and we were off into Epcot. Up right by SSE, the giant golf ball as Lily calls it, we saw Daisy and Stitch were out greeting guests. Daisy had a small line but Stitch had no one! DBF goes to greet Stitch:

We had watched Lilo and Stitch before we came down so Lilian knew who Stitch is but she was still a little nervous. Stitch was very kind to her:

I love DH’s face in this picture:

It did not take long before Lily was ready to give Stitch a hug—a foot popping one at that:

After a kiss and a hug, Stitch was kind of enough to sign her autograph book (after getting a bit of help from DH):

After signing her book, Lilian and DH posed with Stitch for a picture:

Here is Stitch’s autograph:

After we said our goodbyes to Stitch, we made our way over to Daisy. Shortly after we got into line, Daisy needed to take a water break but she would be back in about ten minutes. We decided to stay. Lilian checked out the fountain and posed with DMIL:

After she splashed in the fountain (fingers only), she got back into line. I noticed about this point that DGM was off to the side crying. I am not sure if I have mentioned it here on my TR, but DGM lost her Disney buddy three years ago and has not been back since she passed. This trip was her first foray back to Disney after losing her. Epcot was their park—their favorite—so it really hit hard today! Lilian being the sweet granddaughter she is, ran over to give DGM a hug.

Daisy came back when Lilian came back to wait for us. Lilian was really excited to meet her—her first of the Fab Six!!

She could not resist given her a hug:

Daisy graciously signed Lilian’s autograph book:

After finishing up with Daisy and Stitch, we were finally off on our way to our first ride at Epcot. Care to take a guess on which it might be? Here are some visual clues of our path:

Hmmm…where do you think we are heading? I bet you all can guess!! ;)

Up Next: More in Epcot--including our first ride, a snack, more rides and characters and a wet adventure.

11/19: Photopass pictures that I forgot to add
