Thought I would join your TR. I am really enjoying your pictures. I know all about family drama. to you for taking on a WDW trip with your extended family. We tried a family reunion vacation with my mom's family. We made it to the 'second annual' before we threw in the towel.

I love the little statues infront of the castle! We took a little toy (on the sly) from a friend's son so he could see his toy on vacation at WDW. We took pics with it on all the little statues. He was so surprised!

Our DS will be be going will be seeing the castle for the first time. Thank you for reminding me to watch him when we enter main street (even though I will be fighting back a tear seeing the castle myself...shhhhh dont tell anyone.)

to my TR! I am glad to have you join and post along with me. Why is it the extended family cannot behave? Seriously, it did get better as the week progressed but it fried us at the beginning of the trip.

Such a cute idea to take pictures of a toy! What special memories. I love those statues, definitely want to take pictures of them when we go back.

You are most welcomed! Definitely try to see your DS reaction. He may not react, but if he does it will make you cry for sure!! I got goosebumps seeing the castle!

I left you hanging at the point of what had finally caught Lilian’s eyes—enough to make her want to stop—on her way to meet the princesses. Here is a clue:

If you guessed the Mad Tea Party otherwise known as the Tea Cups, then you are correct! Lilian just loved all of the YouTube videos of this ride, so I am not surprised it was the one that made her want to stop. The wait time was fantastic—five minutes!! So off we went to get into line. We paired up to ride the ride, but DH and I ended up waiting one turn because there was a bit of confusion with him parking the stroller. He got separated from us but there was NO WAY Lilian and me were going to ride without DH. So the others went before, allowing me to snap some pictures (of course). Here are some of the pictures I took:

I just love all the pretty colors of the Mad Tea Party! I looked over to see Lilian’s reaction and here was the expression on her face:

Since the rest of the group ended up on the ride, I tried to take pictures of them. DBF and her DH:

Since DMIL likes spinning rides she and DFIL rode:

My Dad and Joel were going so fast, I could not get a decent shot of them. They were flying! I don’t think I would have been able to stand after the ride if I rode with them. DGM and DGP took a pass on this ride, it would be too hard for DGM to get in and out of it.

These are some of my most favorite shots of the whole trip (mind you I am still going through the photos I took. You don’t even want to know how many I took. )

I have to say, I have always loved spinning rides normally. DH had us going fairly fast since Lilian was have a grand time. I had to keep snapping pictures to focus on something because any time I looked up to look out—boy did I feel it! I felt a wee bit loopy after this ride.

After finishing up with MTP, we were off on our way to TT again. Lilian wanted to meet the princesses, so that is where we were heading.
We walked into TT, of course I took pictures especially TT will be closed the next time we go. I am sad, but at the same time I am looking forward to the new additions to Magic Kingdom.

We walked by Pete’s Garage:

Straight past Minnie’s house—Lilian was clear on her mission, she wanted to meet the Princesses. So what was our wait time? Would it be a doable waiting line? Come back to read the next update to find out.

Thanks Barbara! I am glad you are still reading along. It does completely make it worth it. I found if I was down a bit, all I had to do is look at Lilian having fun or think back to other moments on the trip to get back into a good mood. Those magical moments make it completely worth any amount of drama or pettiness.

Just loved all the pix from your first moments at MK the fall decorations and that beautiful blue sky as the backdrop to the castle were wonderful
The rocks all in a line remind me of my son Nathan he'd do the same thing

Great shots of Lily on the teacups! She looks so happy The teacups were closed while we were there So was IASW but that song drives me nuts after awhile so I wasn't too heartbroken lol.

I love your pictures so clear & its great to be able to see the MK with all the Halloween decorations!

Your DD is just soooo cute! I'm partial to red heads though, having one of my own. But her facial expressions after seeing the castle for the first time & the ones on the tea cups are precious

The group pics from the photopass is great, your DD will look back on those years from now & only remember the special 4th birthday spent at WDW, the drama will never be remembered by her. However, for those of us reading along, it makes for fun reading

I appreciate how you include all the details, even if they aren't those Norman Rockwell moments. I did the same on my TR, we didn't get along the entire time but it's okay, that's the reality of it
