Lotion in rooms again?

We just got home today. We checked in at YC on the 19th and had a fresh tube of lotion every day. We moved over to the Riviera Saturday the 28th and also had it there and I have 11 tubes to prove it

Can we face it that the demise of lotion was never real?
Yet more bad info from CM

You never know. It could have been a "test" and they got more than a few emails (or read these threads). These days, the disney bean counters are always hard at work looking for an angle. Remember mug-handle-gate? It wasn't due to a temporary handle shortage...

No but it was much easier to use the handleless mugs in cup holders.
Not everything they do is to cheapen things.

Depends on who you ask. All personal opinions. There were many, myself included found it much more difficult to carry/manage multiple mugs without the handle. As far as using them in cup holders, mine actually does fit with the handle in both my stroller and car cup holder.

Good for you
Not the same for everyone
Always remember, what is a negative to you will be a positive to someone
I realize they charged them back due to vocal feedback
A case of those who missed them complained more than those that didn't want them

Yes, that is generally always the case these days in most aspects of the world. :) I also agree with you that many times what's a positive for one, may be a negative for others...such as not having the handles may have been a positive for you, and a negative for others, like me and it appears with them back it's a positive for me and a negative for you in terms of getting them to fit in your cup holder. That's why I had stated it was all just personal opinion :).

My only point was not everything done is to cheapen things
Not that one way is right or one way wrong.

Uh oh, I restarted mughandlegate debate again. :scared: but it's true, the mugs without handles were cheaper. So is not providing lotion. Or pen and paper (in DVC villas at least.. Not sure about the other rooms.). It may not be for cost savings, but the trend does seem to always be in favor of it, so absent any other justification, it is a pretty fair assumption IMHO. To each his or her own, though.

One thing about the lotion is that they'll have to supply the small bottles since they're not part of the dispenser setup, which nullifies the idea of eliminating the small bottles. We'll have to see how this plays out. I still have a feeling - based on the volume in various discussion threads on it - that they got more than a few emails on lotiongate and decided to back off for now.

We have had lotion, pen and paper in rooms for the past 10 days, GDT and BWI
