Lost on Rent Points for hotel

I'm trying to look for a 5 disney hotel.

so for this kind of hotel it will be around 200 points for a week right?

at $11 per point than the price of 5 days hotel at disney would be $2200?

is this right?

I assume what you want is a DVC villa for 5 days. If you are staying weekdays then you can get a studio for as little as 40 points, more depending on the season, room size and view and resort, weekend days are more.

There is a section on renting (I think it is somewhere in a sticky section, I am sure someone else can give you the specific link or location). You really need to read it before pursueing renting. There is also a point chart in the links at the top of the page.

What do you mean by "a 5 Disney hotel"? Do you mean you want a DVC studio room or a villa that sleeps 5 people? If the later, you will need a two bedroom villa at most DVC resorts with the exception of Animal Kingdom Villas. There you could get by with a 1 bedroom, but 3 people will be sleeping on pull out sofas or chairs.

Check the point charts at the top of this page where the link says "DVC point Charts". Then look at the different DVC resorts and the point values of each and make some decisions from that. Once you know where and how long and how many points, you can put a post on the rent/trade board requesting your needs. Be sure to read Mike's rent thread first though.
