Lost movies of Disney

I'm kind of torn on this one. In Imagineering, no good idea ever dies, so if these movies didn't succeed there is probably a reason why. For example, Don Bluth, a former Disney employee, made Rock-a-doodle on the Chanticleer story. Either audiences weren't interested in the story or the presentation because it made $11 million and has a 55% on rotten tomatoes. On the other hand, some of these ideas made it to the screen in a different form so they aren't really "lost movies" as much as reimagined. For instance, Han Christian Anderson wrote The Snow Queen which inspired Frozen...and the rest is history.

All that being said, Hiawatha. I like when Disney attempts life-like, "high brow" movies.
