Lost Dream

As I pondered this day
wishing it had never came.
A virtual disney some
thought only as a game.

I'll enter the world we
will no longer enjoy.
Many new things were sold,
now used only as a decoy!

The pain we all feel as
our dreams slowly fade
An each in our own
way feeling very betrayed!

To walk in the Kingdom
with memories all around,
What would Walt do?
Listen the sigh is profound!

You opened my eyes to
a new world to view,
Now you take it away
just cause your through!

I'll stay to the end,
and wait for my boot.
The magic of friends
being my last pursuit!

No more rooms to build
or lands to explore.
You've taken the one
true thing many adore!

So as tears stain the pages
of my heartfelt Goodbye.
I will lay my head down
and have a good cry!​
