I lost my Canon SD450 digital camera near or at Soaring over California on July 5; it slipped out of my waist pack. I registered with the good people at Lost and Found but so far it has not been turned in. I would really like the SD cards that were with the camera more than the camera itself. I will discuss a reward for anyone who finds the camera. I apologize in advance if this is not the correct forum. Thanks for any assistance.

Although this is the Happiest Place on Earth, I doubt that the camera will be returned. People are not that honest these days.

I hoep you put a return address sticker on the camera.

Oh my gosh, I'm sooo sorry to hear this! I really hope that you get it back! I totally understand how the cards are more important. The memories are priceless. (not trying to sound like a commercial) I know how heart-broken I would be if I lost my camera...not the camera but the pictures! So I really, really hope and pray that you get it back!!!!!!!!!! {hugs}

I hope an honest person finds it and you get a call. Can you retake any of the pictures if that doesnt happen?

I hope that you will find it. Some people have kind hearts and I hope one of them will get it back to you.

While I too think it may be gone, the best thing to do is to keep calling lost and found. Even though you fill something out doesn't mean you will get it back. I have gotten things back only by calling or stopping by daily. It does take a while for things to get into lost and found. Usually 3 or 4 days.

Definatly keep calling! A few years ago a friends backpack must have fallen out of my stroller basket while we were walking and no one noticed. When we saw that it was gone we were SURE it had been taken. It was the only thing that made sense :confused3 It had a very nice Canon digital (totally $$$ at the time!) camera in it.

Well....low and behold, we stopped by lost and found 'just incase', thinking if nothing else at least we could recover the backpack and sweatshirts that the 'theif' would have discarded when they found the camera. But it was there. All there. Completely untouched!

Thanks to everyone for their best wishes. Yes, I did put a return address sticker on it, and since this model of camera has a "specialty" battery, and needs a Canon recharger, I'm hoping it will be returned once it is drained. I've called Lost and Found regularly since I lost the camera, but it's been 2 weeks now so I don't have much hope that they will see it. I'm back in Alberta Canada now so can't redo the pictures. My wife took some pics on her old film camera so at least we have some. I will keep on posting on different boards. Thanks again for everyones thoughts.

We just lost/had one stolen also. Did you have trip insurance? While I have not received the check yet they are supposed to reimburse in full the camera, case, memory cards value. Thankfully we had dumped the photos the ight before so there were few on the memory card. That would be a tough loss. :(
