Lost camera at Chef Mickey's, any tips?

Hello fellow disers,

A friend left her camera at Chef Midkey's last week. She has called the Contemporary lost and found and no one has turned it in as of yet. Does anyone know of any other places it may have been turned in to that we could call, is there a central lost and found?

OMG I lost a camera at Chef Mickey's a couple weeks ago and it wasn't turned it either!

There is a central lost and found but good luck getting through. That number is (407) 824-4245.

This won't help her...but I saw on another board where a guy took several pictures with his camera, very creatively... Him holding posters that said things like, "oh great you found my camera!" and "Its my life", etc. Etc. Ending with his phone number and address, and the promise of a reward if it was mailed back.
Even if you don't go to such extremes... If you do take a photo of your phone number and lock it so it doesn't delete, someone might be able to call you. The trouble with a lot of these places is there is no easy lost and found. That and people are selfish *****s who think nothing of ripping off someone stuff even on vacation.
