Hey I know I'm not a frequent poster here but I am a huge Disney fan and I love going to WDW.
On February 3rd my brother was murdered while he was working(he was a gas station clerk). This event has understandably turned quite a bit of my life upside down but I'm trying to keep it together.
I want to find a way to remember him. I know in Disney they have those things like in Magic Kingdom you can have your name on a stone in the walkway or epcot has those walls...do they still do that? If so how much is it roughly?

I am so sorry for your terrible loss, and I'll remember you and your family in my prayers. How nice of you to want to do something in his memory.

I lost my husband in January; he and his daughter had done the "Leave a Legacy" picture in Epcot. I am not sure if they're still adding to them but you could call guest services to find out. At the Photoshop in Epcot I was able to get the original picture reprinted when Sherry (Jim's daughter) and I were there a few weeks ago - it was comforting. I don't believe they're doing the bricks at the Magic Kingdom any longer; I wish they were, I'd love to do one.

I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss! I have had to brothers die and I know your pain. One of my brothers dies of non hodgins lymphoma and the other died in an accident. You all will be in my prayers!
I am not sure you can still do the "Leave a Legacy". Maybe dinsey has some type of charities they support and you can donate to that in your brothers name. Let us know what you and how you are doing.

I am very sorry on the loss of your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you. :grouphug:

What a horrible, tragic and unimaginable loss to cope with. I'll remember your family in my prayers. :grouphug:

I am so sorry for your loss, I want to give you a big hug!

Disney would be a great place for a memorial, but what about setting up a scholarship at your local tech college in his name.

You can set up one to be given out once a year anywhere from $500 - $???? and have freinds and family donate. You can write the rules on what type of student it can go to....did he like cars? Maybe an automotive scholarship? Did he love computers? There is the IT programs.

Just a thought to keep his name alive and help someone at the same time.

Sorry to hear of your loss, but what a nice tribute for him if you leave his picture in Epcot's Leave a Legacy (or do they still do the blocks, I am not sure,) in your favorite place.

I cannot imagine what you must be going through! I am so very sorry for your loss. :grouphug:

I wish I had a suggestion for you. Maybe make a donation to a charity in honor of his memory?
