losing credits just by entering magic shop door

Something when I enter the magic shop I lose 100 credits. I generally check my credits before I go to a shop to see if I have enough to buy something and when I enter the shop and click on the cash register I have 100 credits less then I did 30 seconds before. This has been happening for about 2-3 weeks. It happens about 50% of the time.

I'm really tired of paying just to get in the door of the magic shop.

The first few times it happened I was thinking that maybe it was just me.
But I starting writing down what I had credits wise before I entered the magic shop and looked as soon as I got in there. Sure enough 100 credits were missing.

Then I started doing it for other shops. The magic shop is in the only one that does it. It just did it again to me again a few minutes ago.

Does it matter which way you enter?
From Main Street?
From Magic Checkers game room?
Directly from the world menu?

I have not noticed anything happening to me but that is disconcerting. I usually enter from the general map or follow friends. You said it happen 50% of time? So some sort of weird glitch?

Being that its not all the time or other people having same problem, vmk probably will do nothing.

I've been using the map to enter the shop, but I have lost well over a 1200 credits since it started. I will try another way to enter the shop and see if it happens.

And have you noticed that every host quest has us going to the magic shop?

Is VMK secretly charging us for gas due to the higher fuel costs and increased demand caused by the Car magic and new Stitch magic?

I don't always check credits before entering a shop to buy, but I will try to check for the Magic Shop. If some others players check too, we might find it's happening to others, and maybe will find some pattern.

Sorry about the 1200 credits. That bites.

I suggest you bring no credits with you and see what happens.
Or.. give the credits to a friend with a kiosk, finish the quest and once you entered the magic shop, let them stop the quest so you have your credits.
