A favorite Bob Gurr moment:

As part of EPCOT 35 in 2017, D23 held a special event that was a potluck dinner of sorts, where guests moved from location to location, including three of the sponsor lounges. Several former Imagineers were there, including Tony Baxter and Bob. (It was a remarkable evening, honestly.)

Apparently, the D23 staff were babying him a little too much. ("No need to treat me like an old man!") As we were heading from Norway to Test Track (to the GM lounge), he yanked the "follow me" sign from one of the staff members and insisted on leading us to the pavilion himself.



It's so amazing to me that he's still so young of mind. I'd be lucky to be like that now, much less at 93.

He is such an interesting guy. On one of the BSM trips that was organized by DIS/Dreams he was a guest speaker on the first night. Amazing stories!
