Wow Erin! I'm so sorry to hear about all the drama! I saw the pics online and commented on the packing of course but I had no idea you are packing with the possibility of not going I can't remember if you have a package or not but I know on mine, both my Free Dining and AP ones, you have to pay a fee of $200 if you cancel. It says if you just change it it's $50. Hopefully that doesn't apply to you and you can just all go and be happy and have a great time!!!

Yeah, I don't understand how all that added up to $2500.00! I think lots of it is labor, plus I don't think a radiator is cheap to replace...

I think that if we can't go, we will just change dates instead of canceling (we are on an AP package w/ dining). I am thinking that it will work out though...at least that is what I am hoping for! My DH says that if we can go, I should tell Disney our story of woe and they will upgrade us...lol

So, to add to my already crappy week, I now have a broken toe! I was folding laundry in our bedroom and trying to rush around and I accidentally kicked the bed riser we have. By the time I could look down my toe was already black and blue and swollen! I went ahead and had it checked just because I smashed the top of my foot as well, and wanted to make sure no bones in my foot broke as well. Luckily it is just my toe, but boy, does it hurt!! Right now it is still lovely shades of blue, purple and black and looks like a Vienna sausage! Walking is no fun at all! Olivia helped to make it feel better by letting my use her princess ice pack! So, that is that, add a broken toe to the list of crap that can happen in a week!

I'm hoping it should be feeling much better by Sunday! I have been icing it and keeping off of it as much as possible. My doc said to alternate tylenol and advil for pain/swelling, keep my toes taped together and wear good sneakers and it should feel pretty good to walk on by the weekend. Now I just have to find a way to keep myself sitting down as much as possible during this massively busy rest of the week!!

WOO HOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OUR TRIP IS ON FOR SURE!!!!!!

I nervously checked the bank this morning since I knew paychecks would be in, and I was pleasantly surprised!! I guess Toby's company decided to give him holiday pay, despite the fact the he didn't work Friday or Saturday, and he had a good amount of commission pay on this check as well!! I cannot begin to say what a relief this is!! I can now go back to being excited!!!!

I'm off to finish our packing and enjoy this lovely cool weather we have right now here in Florida (it's 41 degrees out right now!)

yeah, great news for payday!!!! so happy for you guys. i really hate how expensive car repairs can be. I am so thankful DH is a car guy and can tear one apart and put one back together, but even then, he can't do bodywork.

It was great news!!! Car repairs stink! They always manage to hit us at bad times...one time it needed to be fixed and get new tires the day after we got married...guess where our wedding money went?... I would LOVE if my DH could fix cars! Heck, I just wish we knew someone who would do things for cost + a case of beer and a pizza! LOL!

My toe is still killing me! (It did manage to stop hurting when I checked the bank though!!)! It doesn't help that I have had a lot of running around to do today, and I will tomorrow as well...and come to think of it, on Saturday too!

Well, I figured while a had a couple of minutes, I should finish up this PTR (maybe another post or two about packing after this one)!

Day 6: Friday December 10

This is our last day We will be able to sleep in a bit this morning!!! W will be finishing up our final packing, check out, and load up the car and then head to the Contemporary for our 9:55am breakfast at Chef Mickey's! We have done a meal at CM's on every single trip, despite what people say, we have never had a bad meal here!

After breakfast we will take some pictures around the CR and then head off to DTD! The plan is to do a bit of last minute shopping and meet Santa! I decided to bring Olivia's Christmas dress for the Santa pics. I really want to get the most money I can out of our photopass CD. I couldn't justify $30 for Santa pics here, when I can get them there. After hanging out at DTD for a while, we have a 2:00 lunch ADR at Planet Hollywood. I personally don't like this restaurant, but it is Toby's only request, so I had to give it to him. After lunch, it will sadly be time to head home.

We will have to leave pretty quickly after lunch. We have to be back in town no later than 5:00 because Olivia has ballet pictures at 5:15, followed by a Christmas tree performance at church at 7:00. Saturday doesn't slow down either! Olivia has her ballet recital at 10:00am, but we have to be there by 9:00. There is also 3 more Christmas tree shows: 12:00, 3:00 and 7:00! Sunday is once again crazy!! We have our normal Sunday morning church from about 8:30-12:30, and the final Christmas tree show at 3:00!

So, that wraps up our trip I will probably manage to get one final post on tomorrow night before we leave. Right now I am finishing up packing, cleaning up the house, and getting ready for the first Christmas tree show tonight. We have to be there by 5:00, and probably won't be done until around 10:00. Tomorrow is breakfast with Santa at the YMCA, a tiny bit of time for me to finish up any last minute things before I have to head back to the church for Christmas tree shows at 12:00, 3:00, and 7:00. I am hoping to be home by 10:00 tomorrow night so I can at least attempt a good night's sleep!

Well this is it! I'm wrapping up this PTR! The car is packed, Olivia is in bed, and I am heading to bed soon as well! In less than 12 hours we will be AT DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!

Hi guys! We are sadly back from the World But, we had an amazing time! I just finished editing all 500+ Photopass pics and ordered the CD w/ 1-2 day express shipping so I should have that shortly, and all 500+ pics from my camera are loading on Photobucket as I type this so I should be able to start our TR soon!


This weekend was NUTS! We got in town with just enough time to drop Toby off at home, and Livy and I headed to church for yet another Living Christmas Tree performance, they decided to do the big cast photo that night, so we didn't get home until after 11:00 (that's after waking up at 7:00 that morning), then on Saturday Olivia had her very first ballet recital in the morning, followed by 2 more tree shows! Sunday was no better, up early for church, the last tree show, then dinner and some shopping-we left home at 8am and got home at 9pm! So today was a sleep in day and finally unpacking/cleaning the house/working on all of our trip pics! Well, I'm off to do more cleaning and unpacking while Olivia is still sleeping! Then it's off to do some more Christmas shopping.

I know!!! I was SO sad!! We actually ended up leaving right after fireworks that night, we were all too exhausted and cold!
