Loop help/feedback

I would love to get some input from the folks here that have been to Fort Wilderness. DH and I seem to have differing thoughts on the best loop
to "request" Granted, you are not guaranteed a loop. However, I thought that putting in a request for the "best loop for us" would be a good thing.

DH thinks down near the Marina is the best choice for us. He is thinking 200 or 400. We had originally planned to use all Disney Transportation. However, we may end up driving to save time on occasion.

I am considering the 1400 loop to be close to the pool,etc.

Our kids are DS 17, DD 14 and our youngest daughter who will be celebrating her 5th birthday there. We have booked a "preferred site"

We will not be renting a Golf Cart. We MAY be bringing bikes.

We have a 33' Travel Trailer and a F150 truck.

I would love to read some ideas/feedback and maybe even learn some of your favorite sites that might "fit the bill" for us.

I was thinking the 900 loop would be good for you. It's right across from the Meadows Trading Post and the pool is right behind that. Not to mention the closeness of the campfire program and the movie. It also has a bus stop right there. It's only a suggestion, but I always request 900 loop.

900 loop is a full hook-up pet overflow not a preferred loop.

We like the 1400 best over the 100 or 200 but the 400 would be ok. Like being near the campfire and the pool and Meadows when there with 2 of our young DGSs which we will be in a couple of weeks.

It is not really important for us to be near the Marina though.

The 800 loop is preffered and is equally close to things as the 900 loop, if you don't want to wait for the bus it is an easy walk to the marina and Pioneer Hall.

As you see what is "best" for one is not best for others. It may be best to just "take your chance" this first time and explore FW to get ideas for next time. Any site at FW is better than not being at FW.

We stayed in the 1400 loop on our first trip. The cast member told me it was closest to the movie, pool etc. It was very nice there.

Our second trip I opted for 1300 loop. I didn't think I needed the cable since we were never there.

This time I requested 800 loop. This will probably be our last family trip, DS is 17 and DD is 15. They will be moving on soon. I figured since it was our last trip I wanted to go all the way. I have heard good things about the 800 loop!
