We made our very first Disney reservation for a week in September for a full type site . So with a full site our choices are the 1600-1900 loops. Would like advice as to which of these loops are the best. Also is it going to be a problem camping in the pet site loops? Does anyone have a pic of a full type site? :surfweb:

Not sure what you mean by "is it going to be a problem camping in the pet site loops," but I can say that we always have a pet site loop for our furry family members and never have a problem. :goodvibes

Generally speaking the furry campers are the better behaved.:rotfl2:

Happy Camping!

"Best" is very subjective. What do you like? Close to the bus? Close to the comfort station? A more secluded area?

Everyone can tell you what loop they like, but unless you know why they like it their opinion may not match yours. Of the four, I like 1900 best, but unless I say why you don't know if you will like it.

So, what "features" do you think make a "best" site?

I do have photos and more information on my website (link below)

Have fun!!!

If you want a site close to the bus stop then the 1600 is the closest. They also have 2 comfort stations that they can access if that is a concern for you. If you want a site that is private and somewhat secluded from the others, then the 1900 is the one for you. Most people do not like the 1900 loop because it is the farthest from the bus stop and some sites can be quite a walk to the comfort station. Alot of the sites do not have alot of area around them that is usable because the sites do drop off and there is a problem with water runoff during the raining season. However, if its raining alot, alot of the sites will have standing water on them. You can also get close to the bus stop if you are in certain sites in the 1700 loop, specifically the lowest numbers. The 1800 loop is somewhat removed from everything but not as much as the 1900 loop is. Suggest you look at the FW map to get an idea of the layout.

I'll assume since you're posting here, you've read threads about requesting sites? You know they are just requests, right? You could still end up in any of the 4 full hookup loops.

We were there in August and the 1800 loop sites were made wider. Just remember that when you are given a site, go and look at it. If you don't like something about it, look at the other empty sites and then call or go back to the outpost and tell them what site you want. If it's your first trip, it's hard to pick a loop. Once you are at The Fort, walk around to all the loops and see what you like and don't like. We also look at each site to make sure we can put out our awning and since we travel with our dogs, make sure there is room for them. We have a book with all the acceptable an unacceptable sites in it. That way if we are given a site that won't work, we can let them know right away. We love the full hook up sites. They are midway between everything. We usually walk or bike to the outpost or marina. Have fun.
