Which is your favorite and why? Which has easiest access to comfort stations and busses? Which is within walking distance to a pool or store? Quiet? Noisy? Large sites? Anything else I should know? We are a family of 6 and won't have bikes or a golf cart or anything.

DW and I like the 2000 loop. The are bigger and there are 2 comfort stations. One is centrally located and the other is up front at the entrance to the loop. When we stayed 2 yrs. ago we were in site 2020 which was just a short walk from the site. The comfort stations were never crowded, the 2 weeks we were there. 2000 loop is away from the other loops so you don't get as much noise with people cutting through to get somewhere. You don't get as much bus noise either. Some people say there is a short cut to the pool through a trail in the 2000 loop, but I never looked, we always walked, it's a little far but we didn't mind.
I stayed in 1500 years ago, about 18 to be exact. From what I can remember of it, it was a good loop to stay in also.

I have stayed in the 1500 loop several times. It is a short walk to the pool and the trading post. It is a small loop and the bus stop is right at the entrance. The sites can be small but I liked it.

We prefer the 2000 loop. The sites are bigger. It is quieter. We always request a site near the buses and comfort station, so we usually just have to cross the street. The bus noise has never been a problem for us. We have never brought bikes or rented a golf cart and have always walked to the pool. My kids are 6 & 9 and we have been going since DD6 was 1 and with the exception of this years DD was in a stroller, they've never had trouble walking to the meadow pool (and we only discovered the shortcut this past year!)

How do you find short cuts and are their trails through loops? I noticed on the map that often times if just were able to through a place it would be so much quicker to get somewhere but I can't imagine walking through even an unoccupied site and never noticed any little trails.

There are paths and a bridge connecting a couple loops. Also most loops have paths (short cuts) to the CS. They are between sites.

It's best to stay on roads and marked pathways in all of the loops. Cutting through; or cutting between sites is considered very rude. This is especially important for privacy in the tent loops.
