I will second what has been said about The Villages. I have a very long time client who is really a friend now that has a place down there. They have been for for 25ish years. They are in their late 70's and constantly laugh about how old everyone is there and how judgemental. New comers/outsiders are not welcomed. When she says they are old, yes in years but more in terms of spirt and attitude. They have been seriously thinking about getting out of there for a few years because of the people and all the rules but I think they will just leave things as is at least for a while. They don't spend a ton of time there as they have several other places and a massive motorhome.
