Looking to buy 1 day ticket for WDW

We are planning to go to Orlando some days before we check in to a Disney Resort. So we are looking to buy discounted 1 day ticket (5 over 10 yrs) and (1 under 10 yrs) any suggestions?

Does anyone know if Disney Resort ask for proof of Birthday to get the birthday pin at the park? Daughters birthday days before our check in.

Apparently Disney does not allow you to book the Resort and Dining plan withouth buying the tickets with them.

I don't believe you will get a discount on a one day ticket.

I would buy the one day ticket from disney.

I believe if you can find anyone else selling a one day ticket it is the same price as Disney.

They don't ask for "proof" for birthday or anniversary pins. Last year, DH and I celebrated our July anniversary in August with the pins, and it was fine. Having the CM's say "Happy Anniversary" was a highlight of our trip.
