Looking for what area to request at OKW (want to be near the water)

Hi-I cans start on line check in at OKW for next month-we're staying at a 1 bedroom. For on line check in the choices are Millers, Pennisular, S. Point, and Old Turtle Pond area-I thought I'd like to be near the water canal that runs through OKW- I've taken the boat from Disney Springs and have seen the rooms overlooking the water, and thought that would be nice-what area out of the above would be the best choice for a "water view" I know it's only a request, but fingers crossed! thanks-

Hi again-I found a map of OKW-looks like Pennisular Road is the best bet? I guess I should have known by the name, lol!
Not concerned about walking distances to main area or pool-

Penisular Road is nice because it has the first bus stop into the resort area.

Penninsular Road rooms look at the golf course. I had 28 one time and all we could see were trees because it faced a fairway. Just the room entrance faces the canal. For the canal, you want South Point.

Looks like bldgs 45, 46 and 55 in South Point have the best views of the canal. My sister stayed in one of those buildings a few years ago and saw a bobcat drinking water from the canal early one morning. We love the Peninsular Road area but it's across the street from the canal and you don't really have views of it. Most good views are from the back of the various buildings.

ok thank you! When we've taken the boat from disney springs to visit OKW, I would see those rooms, and thought it would be a nice area to stay in-
