Looking for well behaved kids in July!!

OK, so it's not the gift basket from Feralpeg. But once again, July 16 - 21, Mrs. Owtrbnks and I will be roaming the world (just like in Dec '05 and Jan '06) handing out LIGHT BRACELETS to any kids we see behaving. We gave out over 200 one night just before Christmas at MGM. It was great. One lady even apologized for having 5 kids! On the way back to SSR everyone on the bus had a glow bracelet on!
Don't know what our evening schedule will be so we're hereby warning all DD's and DS's to be on good behavior that week (as always!) We'll be ridin' the OKW bus that week looking for fellow DISER's.

That's so fun! I bought my DD6 light bracelets for the couple of nights we went out. She would wear 3 or 4 & by the end of the night be down to one. She has such a generous heart that anytime she saw another child looking at them, she'd let them have one. I loved watching her spread pixie dust.

That's so awesome! Wow, handing 200 of them out.... so cool. I hope you find lots and lots of well behaved kiddos!

My girls love to hand them out too. I got the pack that come with 15 light up bracelets in them at the Dollar Tree and brought 3 packs with us last time. We were sitting in a rather large line for Turtle Talk and I broke them out and the girls were having the best time going through the line and handing them out to all the little kids.

I can't wait until our next trip... 15 of them for a dollar, I have no problem spending $10 or $15 on getting a couple hundred of them to hand out!

That is so cool! what a great idea. We'll be there (at POR) and parks July 16-23. So that will be perfect. Now if my kids will just behave. LOL They usually are pretty good. At least in public. They're 11 and 15 so they are half civilized now. Anyway, what a great idea

You are so kind to do that! What a nice suprise those children will have!Too bad we will be there the 5th-15th! I am a dance teacher and I will be traveling with 14 amazing children! They really are good! I compliment their parents often and say what a good reflection those sweet babies are on the amazing parents.

What a WONDERFUL Idea, if you dont mind I am going to borrow it for our trip in October, we will be doing MNSSHP, what a fun thing to do.

Wow! Based on the feedback here I might have to place another order before our trip!
A few comments:
1. "Model Citizen" - apparently MelanieC has not read any of my other posts.
2. Yes, the MAGIC is returned to us a million times over. Being able to visit WDW 4 - 6 times a year, being a DVC member, seeing the kids smile and say thank you for a 6 cent bracelet, best return on a buck I could ever hope for, Steelmagnolia.
3. Feel free to hijack my idea (to be honest, I read about it on these boards a year or so ago and copied it myself). Hope it's not illegal to post this, but I order them from illuminationz.com

This is an awesoem idea, and one we have had the pleasure of participating in on other vacations. We usually go to the beach (Ocean City, NJ) for fourth of July. Every year theses guys go up and down the beach handing out glow bracelets to all of the kids waiting on the sand for the fireworks to start. It is just AWESOME to see all of these glowing bracelets lighting up the beach at night! Gives you such a nice community feel!
