Now that I'm a certifiable Disney addict :rotfl2: I've found that I really enjoy listening to WDW Podcasts on my MP3 player when I'm out for my walks.

I've listened to all of WDW Prep School ones (which are all fabulous, BTW), but am looking for some new ones!

Do you enjoy audio podcasts too? What do you like?

PS: If you have some non-Disney audio podcasts that you love, feel free to mention those too... I hate running out of something to listen to!

-WDW Today
-DIS Unplugged
-Inside the Magic
-Be Our Guest

Dis After Dark - a British podcast. Park-wise, they talk a lot about Disneyland Paris, but the guys that host it are hilarious.

Mouse Chat

I also really like Kevin Pollack's Chat Show. Fair warning, salty language is often used. Kevin's girlfriend is a Disney nut, so Disney will get brought up from time to time. For episodes with a Disney tie in listen to the interview with Neil Patrick Harris and Partrick Warburton. They both talk briefly of their love of Disney. The best one is the interview with Dick Van Dyke. He talks a little bit about his work on Mary Poppins, but at the end Kevin's girlfriend specifically asks if he spent any time with Walt. His answer left me in tears. Great interview whether you are Disney nut or not.

WDW Radio is my favorite. Lou Mongello is a Disney-a-holic. Some may say he loves Disney too much (never criticizes), I think he and the show are fantastic.

Touringplans.com has a podcast network. Subscribe to this network from itunes and you'll have a new disney or universal podcast almost every day of the week. My favourites from the network are the Mighty Men of Mouse, the Disney Hipsters, and WDW Happy Place.

Happy downloading!

Agreed- WDW is my favorite as well. I also have heard that Lou is too much of a Disney-Apologist, but why would a listener who is planning on going to Disney or likes DisneyWorld enough to listen to a podcast want to listen to negativity?? I like his positive outlook! Its what makes it fun to listen to!!

And we all know where to go to find negativity.

Glad you like them! Just launched in August and things are off to a good start.

Other podcasts I listen to:

- Be Our Guest
- DIS Unplugged
- WDW Radio
- Inside the Magic

One that I recently discovered and haven't heard much about :confused3 is Wedway Radio. These guys are awesome (two brothers who love Disney) and they also sometimes have excellent guests!

I highly recommend their podcast.

I also agree with the other suggestions mentioned. :thumbsup2

I never heard of the prepschool ones so I'm off to check em out! Thanks! :)

Thanks so much again for all of your suggestions! I have to admit that I hadn't really used iTunes too much before  (have always downloaded to a non-iPod MP3 player), but I've figured it all out, and subscribed to a few new ones. I should have lots of material for the next while :)

Thanks so much for the reply Shannon! I find your website super useful and love the podcasts!!! :thumbsup2

WDW Radio is my hands down favorite. I consider Lou a friend and his enthusiasm is infectious. Some don't like his rose-colored view of WDW, but frankly I like him FOR that reason. I get my snark and reality checks elsewhere. Lou is a genuine nice guy, he is beyond knowledgeable about the parks, has fantastic guests and segments, and his show is always well produced.

I also enjoy Inside the Magic. Ricky Brigante gives honest opinions about stuff and also covers stuff at Universal, Sea World and even Busch Gardens.

And of course I enjoy the DIS Podcast. The crew got me through some very rough patches. There videos are fantastic!

Love the DIS Unplugged. There are two versions, one for WDW and cruise line info and the other mainly for DL/DCA. Enjoy listening to both.
