I'm looking in to booking a tour or other add on to our honeymoon trip in Oct/Nov 2015. I have been interesting in the Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP Tour since I first saw it came out, but I have yet to see any reviews anywhere. Tonight I finally found one on TripAdvisor but it seemed to be very rushed. Has anyone taken part in this tour? Is there anything more to it than just paying $299 for what amounts to a lot of thrill ride FastPasses?

I can not find any other reviews online either, but it does seem to be what your observation is.

Retail Tour – VIP Ultimate Day Thrills . . . Per Adult (18-100 yrs) . . . $399.00 Tax $25.94 Total $424.94

The Ultimate Day at Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is a deliciously exciting day combining the tastes and sips of Epcot’s World Renowned Event in a refined and carefree setting. You don’t have to pick and choose, you’ll get to do it all as your Disney VIP Guides accompany you through this extraordinary day.

Your experience begins at the exclusive VIP Lounge hidden within the Festival Center at the Wonder’s Retreat. You’ll start with a flute of champagne and a perfectly paired bite as you’re welcomed by a representative of the festival. Next it’s time to enjoy Epcot’s most popular attractions including Test Track, Soarin, Spaceship Earth, and the Seas with Nemo & Friends. After a break and a brief time to shop you’ll return to the VIP Lounge for a hosted beverage tasting followed by a six-course tapas-style lunch paired with wines, ales or spirits by our sommelier’s and chefs. Next, you’ll experience a private backstage tour of The Land’s Greenhouse Gardens followed by a stroll to World Showcase. Once there, one of our Disney Chefs will greet you and give you an introduction to our Food & Wine Marketplaces while tasting three of our most popular food and beverage pairings from our International Marketplaces. You’ll take in the ambience and essence of World Showcase as we make our way to the America Garden Theatre for one more glass of bubbles before your VIP Seating for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. After the concert concludes you’ll be able to enjoy Epcot Food and Wine Festival on your own. As an added bonus for those that stay through the end of the day, we are offering you a special reserved location to see our laser, lights and fireworks display, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth

We did this tour in October 2014 and had a great time. You meet in MK by the tomorrow land cafe (that is never open) and then after they get you signed in, give you a lanyard, and a name tag, you are off to several MK rides. We rode, Pirates, splash mountain, big thunder mountain, haunted mansion, seven dwarfs MT, space mountain, and buz light year. We then left the park through the back lot in a waiting van and went to Hollywood studio where we rode star tours, toy story mainia, rock and roll, and tower of terror. While there, we had lunch (included in the price) at brown derby. We left again in the van and went to Animal Kingdom where we rode expedition Everest and Dinosaur.

After you are done, they will take you back to MK or the transportation center. The guides are really nice, they have water with them and constantly offer it to you along with different suck on candies.

We finished the day by going to Epcot where we had FP+ reservations and rode the rides there so you can really hit all the major rides in one day.

We will do it again for sure.

This is the ultimate day at Epcot food and wine. We did this also and had a good time, but it is not the ultimate day of thrills.

Wow, thanks for the info. Was it just your group or were there others along as well? Do you happen to remember how long the whole thing took?

I am not the previous poster but I think it is generally with a few other groups. Also, the blurb from wdwinfo says it's 6-7 hours. If my 6-year-old would do all these rides, I would be all over this. Unfortunately he is in that gray area where he is a bit too old for the kids vip tour but too young for some of the roller coasters. Have fun!

he Ultimate Day of Thrills - A VIP Tour Experience: This VIP tour will last for 6-7 hours and give you access to thrill rides at Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. The tour starts out in the Magic Kingdom, where guests will ride Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Next up is a table service lunch at one of the Disney resorts. After lunch, head over to Hollywood Studios for Toy Story Mania!, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror and Star Tours. Animal Kingdom will be the last stop on the tour for Expedition Everest and Dinosaur!

This sounds like something my kids would love to do - did you feel rushed at all? I'm thinking even if you have to buy park tickets on top of the vip package - 3 parks in a day??? Then you could go back another day to chill or do what the kids want to redo and then you could relax the rest of the week lol
