We just got back from WDW and had the CornChowder twice at Tusker House. We just love it!! We checked every Disney cookbook we could find while down there and none of them had it.

?????????? I don't think it's the same as the one they serve at the Animal Kingdom Lodge which they call a Roasted Corn Soup.

Thanks,
Shannon :cutie:

I've checked so many site for the Tusker House recipe, but have never seen it. Usually the only Tusker recipes you'll see are for Jollof Rice & Peanut Crusted Chicken.

Just in case you want to try the Boma recipe, here it is:

CHICKEN CORN CHOWDER
from Boma, Animal Kingdom Lodge

2 Chicken Breast
1 lb Russet Potatoes
2 c Corn Kernels
1/8 c Onion
1/8 c Red Bell Peppers
1 c Chicken Stock
1 c Heavy Cream
1 c Milk
2 tsp Sugar
2 tsp Hot Sauce
1/8 c Fresh Parsley
1 cube Chicken Bouillon

Recipe uses cooked chicken & potatoes. Dice potatoes, onion & pepper; chop parsley. Bring chicken stock to a boil. Add milk, cream, chicken, potatoes, pepper, onions, corn & sugar, then simmer 40 min. Add parsley & hot sauce, then simmer five min. Serve hot.
Yield: 8 servings Preparation Time: 2 hours
