When I was in WDW in November, the shop outside of Pirates of the Caribbean had "crystal skulls" that were a little bigger than a softball or so. they were about $23 if I recall. I'm sure they were made of a clear resin or lucite or whatever. pirate:

I planned on grabbing one later in the day but never got the chance. Did anyone get one? I've had 2 friends go to WDW since and the shop no longer has them.

I'd like to know who made them, and if I can get one.

Thanks!!

Just got back from WDW last night and did see someone handling one in the POTC shop. We were rushing to BTMRR to catch a last minute ride before it was closed for refurb. I wanted to check them out but alas didn't get a chance either.

Thanks for the update! Alas, I won't be heading to WDW for a few months at least.

Anyone able to pick one up and ship it to me? I'll pay via paypal!

Mike.

Mike,

You still desperate for one of these? I will be there in the next couple of days and will try and check.

If they are there, I will confirm with you. If you will PayPal me then I will pick one up. $23 plus tax and shipping should be about $29 bucks.

Lemme know!

Ryan,

Of course I didn't see your offer until several weeks AFTER you posted it. But the good news is that after trying to have several coworkers track down the crystal skull (actually acrylic, for those keeping score) a 4th coworker was able to put it in my hands this morning. I'm a happy guy, finally!

Of course, I'm sure that when I return to WDW at the end of May I'll see zillions of them available. (But you know the saying... a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.)

This will look great next to the Randotti skull that I bought at Pirates of the Caribbean back in 1975. pirate:

Mike.
