looking for tennessee campground info - sorry non WDW related

wondering if anyone can recomend a campground near Dollywood and possibly one near nashville.

sorry for the non WDW post, but i am having trouble finding websites with info about this area. (i have never been before and like the opinions of others when picking a campground.)

I really think Gatlinburgs campgrounds are nicer than Pigeon Forges, but that's just me. In Gatlinburg : Crazy Horse Campground and RV resort, twin creek RV resort, Leconte Vista RV and campground. I know Twin Creek RV has free transportation to Dollywood...I really liked this one.
Pigeon Forge : Clabough's campground, Riveredge RV Park ( 1 mile from Dolly),Twin mountain outdoor resort.
Nashville ( never camped here ) Holiday nashville travel park, Cook Recreation Area. I don't know if this helps but here it is.

There is also a KOA in Pigeon Forge. It is about 1 mile from Dollywood. There is a trolley stop there that will take you to Dollywood, if you don't want to drive. We always stay there in September. It is also an easy walk to the main road.

I had to search to find where we had stayed but it was at the RiverEdge. Very nice--super comfort station, on the trolley line, and the game room was on closed-circuit tv (this was in 2000) so if you had older teens they could go there and you could watch them.

In Nashville, there are three campgrounds close together on Music Valley Drive. They are Jellystone RV Park, Two Rivers Campground, and KOA. They are northeast of downtown, Camping World next door, right close to the Grand Ole Opry, Gaylord, a terrific Mall, funky C & W shops and museums, and some great restaurants. We stayed at the KOA. They all looked to be good.
