Hello! We are headed to Disney Paris for two days at the end of our 25th anniversary trip to London and Paris, at the end of April. We're looking for tips and suggestions from those in the know!

Should we purchase tickets ahead of time or wait until checking in?

Park hopper or two one park one day tickets?

Is there any transportation from Paris hotels, or do we need to get to a central location first?

Would just taking the train be better?

We're hoping to get to Disney by noon on our first park day, so which of the two parks could be done on that shorter day? It's our first visit, so we'd like to do as much as possible.

Thanks for any tips you can give!!

It will be easier to just take the train - The RER which is an extension of the metro system goes direct to the park gates and takes approx 30/40 mins. The trains are regular - approx every 10mins . Marne la Vallee (DLP) station is on Line A
You can get a mobilis ticket for approx 16Euros per adult which gives you a return trip and unlimited use of the metro that day or a return ticket. A single ticket is 8 Euros
Have a look at this map to work out where you can connect to from closest to your hotel - if you are unsure let us know where you are staying and we can work it out for you.

As the 2 parks are right next to each other its so easy to park hop so I would say a hopper ticket would be best especially as the studios closes much earlier than the main park and there is a special night time show in the main park.

Thank you, A Small World. We are staying at Marriott Rive Gauche, so if I'm reading your map correctly, we'll walk to Glaciere station, which way from there? I know we'll have to change lines at some point.
I should have mentioned we are staying at DLP with vacation club points, so we'll head straight to the airport at the end of our trip.

If Glaciere is your nearest metro station that it is fairly easy. Its on line 6 which goes to Charles de Gaulle Etoile one way and Nation the other way. Both of these are the end of the line and connect onto the RER line A which goes to DLP (Marne la Vallee).
Nation is closer.
Dont exit the station when you change lines just follow the signs for RER A towards Marne la Vallee.
When you get onto the platform you will see a sign above you with stations listed - if there is no light against MLV station then wait for another train as the line splits and it only stops at the stations lit up - another train will be along in a few minutes so just check again. MLV is at the end of the line.

Yikes I'm clearly having probs today!!

Want info on a one night stay at DLP. Debating if an overnight or just one day. Thoughts?

Any help appreciated.

No Im not a travel agent - just been to DLP several times and also spent time in Paris.

If you are staying in Paris you can travel in on the day to do DLP however bear in mind it will take you approx 1 hr and the same back at the end of the day.
By staying on site you will get tickets included for 2 days (day of arrival and departure) and can get get early access (usually 8am when the park opens at 10am)

Thanks! So what hotel would you recommend for one night. Honestly would like the least expensive one!! There will be three of us. Would love to do the overnight if it's not crazy expensive. I think I've read that tix are ~$160/day? Seems way more expensive than WDW.
