Looking for suggestions - thinking of a UK vacation for our family

Hi -

I'm hoping those of you here can help me out with a vacation we're considering taking to the UK. I would like the bring my children over next summer for about 10 days 2 dd's ages, 13 and 11). This will be their 1st time visiting the UK. I was wondering if you could recommend a nice family oriented tour comapany.

If you would recommend doing it another way (as opposed to doing a tour package), I'd love to hear your thoughts on that as well.

I've looked at the Adventures by Disney packages and they look very nice ... just wondering if I can do soemthing else along those lines ... but less expensive .

Hi all -

We've just returned from a very last minute trip to see Mickey for Easter ! We had a great time ... now I can continue my research for the proposed UK trip !

Here's what I have in mind at this point ...

spend a few days in London - I'm pretty sure we'll fly into London from Newark.

My grandfather's family is from Kidderminster (?) I think I have that right ?? I thought I'd like to take them to see that area. Is there anything else to see or do nearby or along the way ?

I've also thought about including some time in Ireland as my grandmother's family came from Ireland ... although I'm not sure what part. I'll look into that further.

Open to any and all suggestions !
