I tried the search, but it's disabled, and I went back TOO MANY pages and didn't see any. So, who's eaten here and how was the food? We're trying to find a place to eat off-site one night and these too places sound interesting to me. Please give any advice you have!!!

Both are really good but it depends on the type of food you are looking for. Jungle Jims do great burgers but for slightly fancier food Pebbles is great. We used the entertainment card there last year for a lovely meal.

We ate at Jungle Jims in late April. All 4 of us (me, dh, dd6 and ds4) really enjoyed it - pretty much the same menu as Rainforest but IMO an even more *fun* atmosphere. That is, I didn't have to worry at all about a long wait (got there at 5 on a Saturday) or the kids being scared of the storm effects or gorillas.

Dh and I had burgers, both were delicious.

Kids had standard kid fare and it seemed to go down.

I've been told their drink specials are great, but this was our arrival day after spending the night on the auto train and I was too tired to drink.

I think you'd enjoy it for a casual meal.

DH & I enjoy Pebbles. We've been there several times! We even chose it over the DD restaurants after Cirque. :) Nice wine list, helpful servers. It's boring. Nothing interesting for the kids. Maybe that's why we like it! We haven't brought the little one there yet.

We've always had a peaceful meal there, except for the time when they seated us next to a large table with 2 families. One little boy had just been given a new toy drill. A very noisy & grating on the nerves toy drill. As the restaurant was almost empty, we asked to be moved away from the "dentist's office" and had a lovely dinner. :)

We've eaten at Jungle Jim's twice, and I would definitely go back...you may call it the poor man's Rainforest Cafe, and you would be right...BUT, it's a great place on it's own merit. They have very cute kid's drinks with straws and cute little animal stirrers and a great BIG HUGE menu o' choices. My favorite thing was an odd sandwich of: shaved turkey with cranberry sauce on a croissant -- sounds weird, but was DE-LISH.

Pebbles has always been a favourite of ours.....that is, until last time. They've been tampering with the menu and that didn't go down too well !!

As with all meals, a lot can hinge on how good a server you have. Pebbles generally have some very good people although there are a couple of shockers !! It helps when you can ask for the person you want.

Food is good (the duck was to die for ;)) and the wine list is pretty good even if it does tend to be all California wines ! Be very interested in anyone's opinion who has been to the Crossroads one in the last 6 weeks.

Jungle Jims sounds like fun. Where is it located and does anyone have a website for it?

Fleisure, we missed Pebbles on our last visit. I hope they stop messing with a good thing! I did enjoy the duck :)

One time we had a male server who said he was going over the Le Cellier to manage there. I wonder what happened to him.
